Job Description:
We are looking for someone with strong molding experience and a supervisory or management background.

The Molding Manager will oversee all Production Operations and Safety of all injection molding and assembly/decorating manufacturing areas. This is a Hands On position requiring 80 plus % of the work requirements being executed in the manufacturing departments.
Managing, directing, and directly assisting in Mold Set-Up, Processing, and Material Handling is required. The position requires oversight of the operations of the Molding Department to ensure the efficient production of high quality components through direct supervision of all shift Team Leaders.
Duties will include ensuring that raw material is handled and processed correctly, that finished goods are properly packaged and labeled, and that employees are properly trained and have safe working conditions.
Major responsibilities also include the implementation of fully qualified and documented production processes. This includes transitioning new tooling programs by overseeing PQ runs, performing troubleshooting of production processes, auditing of production setups for adherence to the documented process, and identifying automation and productivity improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Injection Molding Processing.
Setting of Molds.
Enforce Company Policy and recommend disciplinary actions.
Interface with Human Resources to coordinate staffing, training, and disciplinary action.
Coordinate Daily Machine Assignments.
Perform Performance Reviews/Level Recommendations for Direct Reports .
Housekeeping/Organization - 5S A Place For Everything and Everything In Its Place.
Coordinate applicable secondary and sorting/rework in the area.

Responsible for all plant operations in the absence of the Plant Manager.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising a Production Team preferred. Must also be able to deal effectively and professionally with team members.
Strong knowledge in troubleshooting injection molds and injection molding processes.
Process capability, troubleshooting, SPC and robotics.
Able to effectively lead a cross-function/departmental internal team.
Excellent external/internal customer and presentation skills to all levels of customer's organizations.
Strong multiple project management skills.
Able to thrive in a fast paced environment characterized by high growth.
Qualifications:
5 - 10 years' experience in processing engineering grade materials (resins, polyesters, nylons).
Proficient w/ Fanuc, Engel, Whitmann, & Yushin Robots.
Proficient w/ Vision Systems.
Process control and SPC.
RJG Pressure Transducer Experience.
RJG Level I & II Certification preferred.
Scientific injection molding (SIM) skills for machine set-ups/adjustments.
Leadership, motivation and coaching skills to develop self-directed Teams.
Computer and Blueprint reading skills a plus.
Minimum Associate's Degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience required.
